Hello October – What’s Happening at Kidi Photography 🍂

October has arrived, and with it comes one of the most beautiful seasons of the year. The world outside transforms into warm shades of amber, gold, and deep crimson. There’s something magical about this month—the way the crisp air feels, the crunch of fallen leaves underfoot, and the comforting glow of autumn light.

For me, October is always a season of creativity and busyness. Along with November and even January (yes, January!), it’s one of the busiest times of the year here at Kidi Photography.

A Fresh Start After a Difficult Summer

This summer wasn’t easy, as my studio was badly affected by flooding. It was a challenging time, but I made the decision not to slow down as autumn arrived. I’ve ordered new props that I can’t wait to use, and someone has kindly offered me support—I’ll be receiving their help very soon, which makes me feel hopeful that things will finally return to normal. Step by step, I can see everything slowly falling back into place.

Autumn Studio Sessions 🍁

October is filled with precious newborn sessions, as well as one of my yearly favourites—autumn mini sessions. This year, I’ve prepared something extra cozy: soft plush pumpkins that are ready to bring a touch of fall magic into the studio. These little details make each image feel timeless yet perfectly seasonal, giving families a beautiful way to capture autumn’s charm indoors.

Preparing for the Christmas Rush ✨

Of course, October also marks the beginning of my Christmas preparations. Normally I start these earlier, but because of the flooding, everything has been pushed a little later this year. Still, I promise that the Christmas sessions will be every bit as magical, heartwarming, and festive as always.
