This year marks 10 years of Kidi Photography.Ten years since I took a leap of faith — full of fear, but also hope — and, encouraged by my husband, opened my own photography business.
I invested everything I had to buy my first equipment and begin this journey. Back then, my plan was simple: maternity, newborn and first birthday sessions. That was where my offer was meant to end.
But life — just like photography — had other plans.

Over the years, my business grew… and so did I.
As a person.
As a wife.
And as a mother.
Slowly, naturally, I added more sessions to my work: sitter sessions, children’s portraits, outdoor and family photography.
All of it driven by one thing — love for memories and love for family.
Because there is nothing more precious than family. And this idea has guided me from the very beginning — and still does today.
I want to capture all the important moments in family life. Not only the very beginning. Not only newborn days. But also older children — because they matter just as much. They deserve their memories to last. They deserve to have their story preserved forever.
When I started my business, I didn’t have big ambitions.I simply wanted to create beautiful photographs and freeze time — for my own family and for the families who trusted me.
Along the way, something unexpected happened. My work became recognised internationally.I received numerous awards and distinctions.I was honoured with the Photographer of the Year title three times, my images were exhibited, published in magazines, and awarded worldwide.I was also invited to be a judge for the Magical Childhood Competition and the 35 Awards, which remains a huge honour.
But if you asked me what brings me the greatest joy…It’s not the awards.
It’s you.
It’s the moment when a shy pregnant woman walks into my studio.Or a mum who no longer sees her own beauty. And she leaves feeling confident, emotional, seen — finally recognising herself.
Over time, my approach to photography evolved. My editing is still rooted in fine art, but today it is softer, more delicate and more natural.I no longer chase perfection or overly smooth skin — something I did in the early years. Now, I focus on truth, emotion and authenticity.
Every person is beautiful — not everyone realises it. My purpose is to show you how important it is to capture the present moment and to show you how beautiful you truly are, exactly as you are.
My editing is not meant to turn you into someone else. It is meant to enhance your natural beauty, not replace it. Photography should be honest, timeless and meaningful — so that one day your children can look back and see who you were today.
That is why over the last few years my fine art editing has become more soft, gentle and subtle — so that in your images, I capture YOU, not a version that only slightly resembles you.
If this speaks to your heart and feels right to you —I am your photographer.
I can’t wait to welcome you into my home based studio 🤍
